Why Join?

You're Never Alone

One of the greatest benefits of being a PESPA member is knowing that you never have to face difficult workplace situations by yourself.

If you are ever asked to attend a meeting with:

  • Human Resources

  • Your supervisor

  • District administration

  • Building administration

  • Any meeting that could affect your employment, discipline, or working conditions

You have the right to request union representation.

Simply contact any member of the PESPA Leadership Team, including:

  • Union President

  • Vice President

  • Any PESPA Board Member

A PESPA representative can attend the meeting with you, help ensure your rights are protected, provide guidance, and serve as your advocate throughout the process.

You do not have to navigate these situations alone. That's one of the most valuable protections your union membership provides.

What PESPA Does for Members

Being a union member means more than paying dues—it means having a team that is constantly working behind the scenes on your behalf.

  • Represent members in employment-related meetings

  • Meet monthly with Human Resources to discuss employee concerns

  • Serve on district committees that shape policies and benefits

  • Ensure employees have a voice in district decisions

  • Keep members informed about important legislative and district changes

  • Celebrate and recognize the incredible work of Educational Support Professionals
